Kart Bay safety guide
Kart Bay does not hold item payments, provide escrow, or arrange delivery. Buyers and sellers agree those details directly.
For buyers
- Inspect expensive items in person and verify serial numbers where possible.
- Meet in a public place or established kart circuit and bring another person.
- Never send money because someone claims another buyer is waiting.
- Use a traceable payment method with suitable buyer protection; understand its rules first.
- Be cautious of prices that are far below market value or requests to move immediately off-platform.
For sellers
- Do not release an item until funds are confirmed in your own bank or payment account.
- Ignore screenshots or emails claiming payment was made; verify it independently.
- Keep messages and postage receipts, use tracked delivery, and photograph packaging.
- Do not share verification codes, passwords, full card details, or online-banking credentials.
